The Global Consciousness Project is a parapsychological project started in 1998 and tries to observe if human consciousness can act on the phenomena of physical reality. The system consists of several random number generators arranged geographically so as to cover as large an area as possible and as many inhabited areas as possible. Each randomly generates the numbers 0 or 1 200 times per second.
When major events occur at the global level and people are informed through the mass media about what is happening, a statistically measurable effect appears. The system no longer generates the numbers 0 and 1 in an approximately equal way, but an obvious change occurs due to the thoughts and emotions generated simultaneously in a certain time interval by a very large number of people.
I too have felt such „waves” of emotional and mental energy several times in situations where GCP – The Global Consciousness Project confirmed that something is happening. It’s something you feel and it’s kind of hard to explain in words.
When the event is known on a planetary level, a difference is perceived compared to the moments when we intuit information about events that affect us locally or personally. It is „something” extra. So far I have noticed this effect following some negative situations, but I hope that in the future the mass media will also present positive events as they present the negative ones and to which a large number of people will react.
Or maybe people react more strongly to attacks, accidents, wars and other catastrophes than to sports competitions or New Year’s euphoria.
For those who live in Romania, there is a generator in Cluj Napoca and a closer one in Varna, Bulgaria. In other areas, the density of generators is higher. We can only hope that more will appear here and in other neighboring countries.
